The organizers of Maldivian Evening are busy getting ready for the largest event of its kind organized in the UK by MSA-UK. The event is being organized in association with the Maldivian High Commission in London. All contributors are working towards presenting an event of rich Maldivian content both in performance and food. Items in the programme include boduberu, music by Umar's band, dance items by young students, and solo presentations by Maldivians who are flying to London to perform in the event.

The Maldivian community in the UK are giving their whole-hearted support to this event by direct contributions in the form of catering, transportation, sale of tickets and simply by giving a hand. Several companies in the Maldives are also contributing. Already in are Sailing Tours, Bandos, Villa and Antique and Style. As always Emirates has once again showed their generosity. Others have indicated their desire to join in.
