The Fresher’s Day and Events organised by MSA(UK) was held in London from 2-3rd October 2004. A total of 28 members enjoyed the events of the day.

The main event started on Saturday 4th, with a sight seeing tour of London by visiting famous landmarks of London which include, House of Parliament, the Big Ben, London Eye, London Bridge, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. The sight seeing tour has to be shorted due to bad weather.

On completing the tour members returned Rosemont to enjoy the grand buffet. A meeting was held before the dinner. Chairperson of the association gave an insight into the association and the current activities planned for the year. A by-election was then held to appoint a Vice-Chairperson and Ms Aminath Enas was appointed with a majority vote. Ms Enas is a postgraduate student at the University of Manchester.

After the meeting members enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner and took part in activities such as pool, table football and pictionary. The main event of the evening was "Ishaaraiy" involving two teams moderated by Ms Aamal Ali and Mr Mohamed Jameel.

On Sunday 3rd, a football match was played in the Finchley grounds. The match was played between Arif-Team and Shafiu-Team and match ended by 9-8 win by Arif-Team. After enjoying the great events members concluded the days events and departed to their home town.
