Agenda for AGM 2003 announched
The Central Committee has announced the MSA(UK)'s Annual General Meeting of 2003. The Central Committee has also unveiled a superb "Foari Nagaa Plan" for this gathering.

The main event of the AGM of 2003 will be electing a new Central Committee for the year 2004 with opportunities to discuss key issues in order to make MSA(UK) a better association in terms of representing the interest of every Maldivian student and delivering more to the members, and strengthening relationship between other associations and social and economic bodies in the UK, Maldives and elsewhere. Given below are the events and activities of the Foari Nagaa Plan 2003.


FOARI NAGAA PLAN 2003


The events and activities of AGM 2003 will be held form 28th December 2003 to 02nd January 2004. The week long gathering is scheduled to be held at 9 Rosemont Avenue, London, starting with the arrival of members on Sunday, 28th December 2003. The Central Committee has arranged free accommodation and food during this period. Therefore, block out these dates on your diary and book your travel tickets now!

28th December 2003 (Sunday) - Members Arrival
Members are kindly requested to arrive on (or before) 28th December 2003 to take part in the fun events and activities next day. Please remember to bring your sleeping bags and football boots when you come! Girls, don't forget to bring your trainers to play Netball.


29th December 2003 (Monday) - Outdoor & Indoor Activities
Major outdoor activities will take place on Monday, 29th December 2003. These include a Football Match, Cricket Match and a Netball Game (new event especially for the girls).

These matches will be played among the "London" Vs "UK United" i.e. among the members in London and rest of the UK members. The outdoor activities will be held during the day and indoor activities will begin in the evening. The indoor activities planned are Carrom, Chess, Dart, Pool and Scrabble. There are many great prizes to win for you to take home!


30th December 2003 (Tuesday) - Indoor Activities & Meeting
The indoor events will continue through out the day will conclude before the beginning of the Meeting. The Meeting will be held at 18:00hrs.

The Chief Guest of the meeting is expected to be the High Commissioner of Maldives in London, Hon. Mr Adam Hassan. A new Central Committee will be elected for the year 2004 and members will have ample opportunities to discuss issues and concerns relating to MSA(UK) to make the association a better one! So, bring your ideas with you and get your voices heard at the meeting!

After the meeting, a delicious buffet dinner will be served for you to taste the traditional 'mouth watering' dishes! After the dinner, Bowling has been arranged at the Hollywood Bowling for you to trash some pins! This will be an opportunity to show your Bowling tactics and break the MSA(UK)'s bowling record!

After the bowling, late night events are also planned. These include "Ishaaraiy", "Lava Bazee" with Karaoke Singing and many more!


31st December 2003 (Wednesday) - New Year Celebrations!
A great opportunity for members to celebrate the New Year at London where large number of people attend every year to count the last minutes of the year and to enjoy the beginning of a new year with live celebration!

The Central Committee will be taking members to the Central London, near and the Big Ben to take part in the New Year Celebration. Don't worry about the travelling expenses since tubes are free through out the night! We will then make way to Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square for a great night out!


1st and 2nd January 2004 (Thursday & Friday) - London Sightseeing Tour!
This is a self contributory event, creating an opportunity to visit some of the most famous and exciting places in London for the interested people. E.g. Covent Garden, Hyde Park, Regents Park, London Eye, London Zoo, Madame Tussauds and London Planetarium. The Central Committee members will accompany members who want to do this tour.

Europe's largest festive experience, Winter Wonderland 2003 will also be taking place in Greenwich at the Millennium Dome from 6th December until New Year's Eve. The Central Committee will provide assistance to members who wish to make this thing their way.
