The Central Committee of MSA(UK) hosted a dinner in honour of the visiting President of the MSA(Egypt), Mr Hussein Shameem. Mr Shameem is currently in UK after completing his studies in Egypt. The dinner was hosted in the Hong Kong Restaurant, New Cross Gate, London on Tuesday, July 6th, 2004. The Central Committee members and the Webteam participated in the dinner. The Chairperson of MSA(UK), Mr Ismail Mohamed and Mr Shameem enquired about the day to day running of the association and discussed the opportunities and challenges facing both the associations. Chairperson, Mr Mohamed thanked Mr Shameem for attending the dinner with a very short notice despite his busy scheduled. Chairperson, Mr Mohamed said that this meeting has further strengthened the close relationship that existed among the two associations and would continue to flourish in the years to come. Mr Shameem also expressed his delight to meet the Central Committee members of MSA(UK) during his visit.

The Central Committee of MSA(UK) also thanked the ex-webmaster, Mr Mumthaz Husain (who was also present at the dinner) for providing his support in re-designing, and maintaining the MSA(UK) website for the past one and half years. Mr Husain is planning to return home shortly after completing his studies in the UK.
