The Fresher’s Day and Events organised by MSA(UK) was held in London from 4th-5th October 2003. A total of 40 members enjoyed the events of the day.

The main event started on Saturday 4th, with a sight seeing tour of London by visiting famous landmarks of London which include the Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, House of Parliament, the Big Ben, London Eye, London Bridge, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. The sight seeing tour was joined by 18 new members and 9 existing members. The members also had a unique opportunity to visit the great magician David Blaine who was on his 44 day of starvation stunt, in a glass box hung near the Tower Bridge.

On completing the tour members returned Rosemont to enjoy the grand buffet. After enjoying the delicious dishes on the menu, members took part in activities such as pool, carrom, chess, scrabble and "Lava Bazee". The main event of the evening was "Ishaaraiy" involving two teams - Shieteamm lead by Shie and Sabateam led by Saba. The event lasted for more than 4 hours was moderated by Jameel, Manik, Sharneez and Shiu. After a tight fight, Sabateam won the championship by narrow margin. A cash prize sponsored by Jameel was handed by Chairperson Jeku to the winning team. A cash prize was also handed to Shieteam by the Chairperson's wife Nashi for the tough challenge. At the end of the event, the Chairperson also gave a briefing about MSA(UK) to the new members.

On Sunday 5th, a football match was played in the Finchley grounds. The match was played between Sappeteam and Lathyteam. At the end of the first half, Sappeteam was leading by 8-4. Due to poor performance of Lathyteam many tactical changes were brought in with the advice of Jameel (player/coach/manager). The changes made had a great impact on the performance and the match ended by 9-8. Sappeteam was declared the winner and the man of the match was Hassanko of Sappeteam. Following the football match, a cricket match was also played in Finchley grounds among the two teams. Sappeteam won the toss and went for batting. The match ended with Sappeteam winning the match by 7 runs. The best performance was shown by Shafi (Sappeteam) who scored most runs. The best bowler title was given to Saamy (Sappeteam) by taking the most of the wickets.

After enjoying the great events members concluded the days events and departed to their home town.
