The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2010 kicked off when members arrived on Saturday morning. A total of 30 members gathered at 9 Rosemont Avenue by 7 pm before the official meeting. The High Commissioner Dr. Farah Faisal honored the official meeting along with other personnel from the High Commission. 

At the meeting, the 2010 Central Committee reviewed the events that took place through out the year, which included a successful campaign to fundraise for the victims of child abuse. At the end of the meeting all members agreed to continue the campaign and to donate the proceedings at the end of each year to a children’s charity in the Maldives. Also a new Central Committee for 2011 was elected. The meeting concluded with a spectacular dinner.

Indoor games continued till late Saturday night. The paintballing game planned for Sunday had to be cancelled because of the weather. However, it was replaced by a bowling game at the Hollywood bowling center. More indoor games continued until late Sunday night. A twist of events and everyone was tangled up in a food fight at 4 am Monday morning. Greased with Rihaakuru and Maple syrup and various other stuff that need no mentioning, it was a very enjoyable AGM. The AGM was closed officially at breakfast Monday morning.
