Milad-un Nabi
Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) was born to a family belonging to a Qurayshi clan, the ruling tribe of Mecca in the Hijaz region of north-western Arabia on the 12th day of Rabi-ul-Awwal (the third month of the Islamic Calendar). This falls on Wednesday May 14 this year.

May Almighty Allah's blessing be with all of us on this auspicious day of "Milad-un Nabi" - the birthday of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) - Peace and blessing of Allah be upon him and his companions.

Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) was sent to mankind as a blessing.

"We have sent you (O Muhammad s.a.w) not but as a mercy for the Ãlamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)"
Verse 107, Surah 21 (Al-Anbiyâ), The Noble Qur'an

On this day, let us remind ourselves about Prophet Muhammad's farewell sermon (Khuthubath ul Wadhaau) which he addressed to the Muslim Ummah, in the valley of Arafat on the Ninth Day of Dhul-Hajjah 10 A.H. In this sermon he said, "I have delivered Allah's message to you and left you with a clear command: the Book of Allah and the practice of His Prophet. If you hold fast to this you will never go astray."

"Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad s.a.w) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much"
Verse 21, Surah 33 (Al-Ahzâb), The Noble Qur'an

May Allah Almighty guide us in the true path of Islam as our Prophet has shown, and give us the strength and make us able to hold firmly on to Qur'an and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). May Allah Almighty, Most-Merciful pardon our sins and give us paradise, Jannathul-Firdaus. Aameen!

Allahuma salli ala Muhammadin wa Aal-e Muhammad (O Allah! Shower thy blessings on Muhammad and the descendents of Muhammad).
