The High Commission of Maldives in UK has announced that they will be having an event to mark the celebration of Independence Day this year on the 26th of July. It has asked MSA-UK if any of the members would be interested in participating in the 'sagaafee kulhivaru'. We understand that a lot of our members would go home to the Maldives for summer and as such we were unsure of the availability of student participants. Therefore, if you are in the UK during that time, and are interested in taking part in the activities, please send an email to committee@msa-uk.org.

Unfortunately, the High Commission has told us that due to the confined nature of the place they will be conducting the events in, they would be unable to allow Bodu Beru during the events.
