Who wants to go on the Berlin tour?
MSA(UK) is arranging a tour to Berlin, the capital and the biggest city of Germany. We have not decided the exact dates but we are looking to arrange it towards the last week of June or the first week of July.

The city of Berlin is rich of sightseeing attractions, spanning both the city's venerable past and its exciting, turbulent present. Perhaps the most spectacular view in Berlin is the glistering glass dome of the Reichstag, The Reichstag Dome which symbolises Norman Foster's architectural creativity.

Berlin's magnificent museums may be the city's most famous attractions, while there are quite a number of less well known sites. Few are listed below.

    * Reichstag - The German Parliament
    * Brund Burger Tour
    * Alexander Platz - East Berlin
    * Zoologischer Garten - Kurfursten Dam (Central Berlin)
    * World famous universities: Technical University of Berlin, Fri University and Humboldt University Berlin are in this region.
    * Potsdamer Platz
    * Haus der Kulturen der Welt - Museum showing cultures of different nations
    * Schloss Scharlottenburg Palace
    * Judisches Museum
    * Ägyptisches Museum
    * Dutsches Technik Museum - German Technical Museum
    * Chinesischer Garten - Chinese Garden

Perhaps the biggest difficulty for us in a European country like Germany is the language. A Maldivian who has been living in Berlin for nearly ten years, is volunteering to help us make this tour as enjoyable for our members as possible through his experience in this fabulous historical city.
