MSA(UK) Freshers' Fair to be held on 6-7 October 2007!
The social gathering of new and current students and their families will take place from 6-7 October 2007 at 9 Rosemont Avenue, London, N12 0BY.

The Freshers’ Fair is an excellent opportunity for all the new students coming to study at UK to meet up with fellow Maldivians who are already undertaking their studies at various institutions of the UK. This year, like last year, it is more worthwhile to attend this exciting gathering due to the simple fact that it take place during the holy month of Ramadan. Yes, a lot of us are likely to be spending their first “Roadhamas” away from our family, friends and loved ones. Thus, why not jot down this event in the diaries and buy the ticket to travel to Rosemont to meet up with other Maldivians, who will make you feel more than homely! We are aiming to run an interactive session to make sure all the new students leave at the end fully happy with they have learned and seen!

The event also coincides with the Ramadan Ifthaar (“Roadhaveellun”) organised by the Maldivian High Commission in the UK on the honour of everyone of us! All the new and current students and their families are cordially invited to attend the grand “roadhaveelun” to be held on Saturday 6 October.

Do not worry, we will announce the detailed agenda of activities, including the venue of the Ifthaar given by the High Commission, in due course. But for now, make sure all the new and current students and their accompanying families make arrangements to attend the event. (It is advisable to travel to Rosemont in the afternoon or evening of Friday 5 October and return back in the evening of Sunday 7 October).

Eagerly looking forward to meeting up with all the new and current students and their families.

NB:If you have any question about the event, or would like to give us an idea about how to make the event more interesting and productive, please do not hesitate to contact us at committee@msa-uk.org
