We are organising a information session titled "Study in UK" to be held 4pm-6pm & 8pm-10pm on 14th July 2007 at Hakura Maalam, Dharubaaruge on giving information about studying in the UK. The event is a non-commercial, social gathering in a non-formal setting with students in Male' where they can talk to past and present scholars who had done atleast some of their studies in the UK.

With this event, we hope to:
- Share a bit of what student life in UK is like
- Experiential information on different study programmes, their merits, points of interest
- Post study career options
- Funding and scholarship options
- Introduce MSA-UK
- Provide a forum for past and present MSA-UK members to meet
- Provide an opportunity for prospective Maldivian students to talk to UK students

Note to MSA-UK members:
We need as wide a variety of different subject areas and professional fields to be represented at this event so that students can converse and find a bit more about their fields and careers of interest. We request ALL and ANY MSA-UK member to show up and help us make this a lively and exciting event. Remember, this event participates all of you who had studied in UK and were a MSA-UK member, irrespective of when you did so. You are free to spend as much time as you can allow at the event and talk to the incoming prospective scholars on your area of study and experiences in UK. We would appreciate if you let us know (preferably with a contact number) if you are able to make it. Also, please do feel free to promote the event to your friends and family in the Maldives.
