Dissolution of Rosemont Committee
The Rosemont Committee, the sub committee that was formed to deal with the day to day administration of 9 Rosemont Avenue on 20 February 2007, will be dissolved effective from 15 May 2007.

After careful consideration, the Central Committee of MSA(UK) unanimously made the decision in order to have a more open and simple mechanism in managing the house. It was found evident that by dissolving the Rosemont Committee and establishing a more direct relationship with the members of MSA (UK) in the management of Rosemont can be more effective and yield more meaningful results.

It was agreed that the unity and cooperation from MSA(UK) members is the most important aid in managing Rosemont and in all activities of MSA(UK).

However we do acknowledge the fact that it may have been useful to have a Rosemont Committee in the past when Rosemont was handed over to MSA(UK) due to several strategic and managerial logistics. Although it may have served its purpose during then, it is now evident that it is unnecessary to have such a committee anymore. The framework broadly established within MSA(UK) can effectively serve its purpose of managing the house in the future.

This decision is envisaged to be a step in the right direction and intended to give further strength to the close relationship that we have with the members of MSA(UK). This is the most important task of MSA(UK), and thus the main focus has been working towards that goal.
