EGM has started!

The EGM and its colourful events have started today 12th April 2003. The days event started with a cricket match between the ‘Notorious Gangsters’ and ‘Humble Followers’.

The cricket match started at the Finchley grounds, London at 12:00 Hrs. Notorious Gangsters won the toss and decided to bat. The opening bat man and bat women were Iya and Neeza.

Notorious Gangsters Humble Followers
Jameel (Captiain) Arif (Captain)
Fayaz Jeku
Juman Sheesu
Iya Sami
Neeza Shimal
Ugail Shafiu
Sai Mumthaz (Dhalhey)

The fast and soft bowling was done by Arif beating previous records. Arif’s bowling was so fast that every ball landed on the boundary giving a 4 for Notorious gangsters on every ball he threw. The rules and regulations for the match were made on the spot. Notorious Gangsters scored more points from no balls and wide balls rather then their own score. When it was the time for Jeku as umpire, he was bit confused about the rules and regulations as they kept changing from time to time. Finally, Notorious Gangsters won the match with 23 runs. The man of the match was Jameel, who took two wickets and scored 101.9 runs from 2 overs. Iya scored most of the run from wide balls. Jeku stole the match with a new world record of wides at league level as he threw 30 balls in one over, Guess how? The next Umpire in charge was Jameel, who used his skilful tactics to provide scores to his own team.

Other activities such as pool, scrabble, carrom and chess has begun and continued thorough out the day. The Rosemont kitchen is very busy, the grand farikolhu is being prepared. The Rosemont Avenue is in full alert at the moment!
