MSA(UK) has started its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) 2007 today in Manchester. The day saw members arriving into the EGM base camp since morning and more and more members arrived from different cities even as midnight approached. The event has had a great start and there have been a number of new faces and a friendly atmosphere prevailed all throughout the day.

A friendly football match took place in the evening after which members were treated to a killer dinner of fihunu mas, garudhiya, lonu mirus, dhaal curry and rice on the menu! Everyone had the craving for more and most had to help themselves to a second round. The night saw a more serious tone replace the fun of the day as members engaged in a part brainstorming, part discussion session for Project GoTeach. The session took a break for the night and will conclude with decisions for the finer details of the project after voting at the meeting scheduled for 31st night.
