We are pleased to announce the formation of a sub-committee, hereby named as "Rosemont Committee" to help the Central Committee in dealing directly with the day-to-day management of 9 Rosemont Avenue, N12 0BY, London, commonly referred to as Rosemont.
The committee consists of the five members of the current Central Committee of MSA(UK) and the permanent residents of Rosemont (currently three). Thus given below are the names of the members of the committee:
Mohamed Samnoon Fuad (Head of Committee)
Mohamed Muizzu
Jawish Hameed
Aminath Hauzan Nasir
Hassan Khalid
Abdulla Muthalib (current Warden)
Ahmed Shareef
Mohamed Fazal
Mohamed Samnoon Fuad was elected to the post of Head of Committee with a clear majority of the members of the committee during its initial meeting held on 19th Feb 2007. The main aspects looked into when forming the committee was to make the committee as small and as effective as possible, thereby hopefully enabling the committee to focus better on achieving more productive and sustainable development to the house, at a faster and acceptable pace.
However, this can only be achieved with the full support of all the full and associate members of MSA(UK). Thus, we would like to request all the members of MSA(UK) to help and coorperate with the Central Committee and the Rosemont Committee in making Rosemont a better more enjoyable place for all of us. We would also like to stress the fact that the help and guidance of the Advisory Council of MSA(UK) as well as that of all the members who had gladly contributed to various extents to the association and Rosemont will always be sought as often as required, for their experience and knowledge will be extremely important towards the execution of tasks more effectively.
A list of required repairs/refurbishments to the house and necessary changes to the guidelines of the house has been identified already and prioritised. The work towards making meaningful progress in completing these tasks are underway already.
We sincerely look forward to receiving constructive comments/ideas and considerable help from all the members towards achieving this goal.
