The first meeting, attended by all five members of the Central Committee (CC) was held at Rosemont, London from 7-8th February 2004. The main objective of the meeting was to discuss and plan the key activities for the year. According to Nadheem, Student Advisor, important discussions took place during the meeting and members were able to come to a common conclusion about the planned activities and events for the year. It was a good opportunity for members to discuss their views and concerns says Abba, Treasurer.

One of the outcomes of the meeting was that a Sub-Committee was formed in accordance with the article 4.6 of the Constitution. According to Issey, Chairperson, the main aim of forming a Sub-Committee was to broaden and strengthen the role of the CC into areas of legal, marketing and promotions.
