They have been creative, they've been practicing, and the fan base has been growing. Now, FASY is ready to come back to London, to YOU, for their second big concert in Britain.
Back at the Emergenza Festival in May
Following their phenomenally successful first performance at the Emergenza opening concert in February, FASY will return to England in May 2006 for the second stage of the world’s no.1 unsigned bands’ event. FASY: Ahmed Faseeh (Fasee) lead guitarist with bassist Ali Nazeer (Ayya) and drummer Ibrahim Samih (Ibbe) will play again for about 30 minutes at the W14. Expect the performance to again include the catchy melody “Been a Long Time”, some new songs as well as FASY's legendary guitar solos.
If you thought the turnout of Maldivians cheering to FASY's inspired rock music at the first concert was impressive, then wait for the fans to show up in even bigger numbers next time. And you will have to, because they need your vote. Remember, each of the bands get voted upon by the audience and every vote counts.
FASY ended up in 3rd place among 50 bands in the first round, but competition will be tougher in the second. So, bring your friends and colleagues to make this a roaring success for them again. If they move on to the third and final round, they will play in front of an even bigger audience and might get offers for contracts with record labels.
This is a unique opportunity to hear one of Maldivian music's legends live on stage in England. So, come in large numbers and vote for them to make sure FASY can come back to London for a third performance.

FASY – Band History
The band was formed in July 2004 in Malaysia. FASY, the key person in the band had performed as a guitar player in many bands before starting from his school way back in the late 80’s. Since then h e performed in many bands in the Maldives experimenting with many styles of music. In 1996 he moved to Malaysia for further studies and while he was there he has performed with many Malaysian artists both live and in studio. Finally the time came when he wanted to put his own line-up together.
His first line-up included a Maldivian bassist (Rifu) and an Indonesian drummer (Dista). The line-up regularly performed rock, metal and blues music in a few clubs in Malaysia. There were a few changes in the line up and finally now he’s got Ali Nazeer (Ayya) on bass guitar and Ibrahim Samih (Ibbe') on drums.
Ali Nazeer had been the bassist for a popular Metal band back in Maldives and met FASY in Malaysia when he was pursuing higher education. Ibrahim Samih was the drummer of the same metal band as Ali Nazeer and was introduced to FASY by Ali Nazeer.
The line-up did their first performance in July 2005 in a well-known pub in Malaysia followed by many appearances in popular venues like major clubs, Tower Records outlets, shopping mal ls, and several music festivals.
