Mr. Abdulla Sodiq has been elected into the vacant post on the MSA Advisory Council after winning the majority of the votes from members at the elections held at the EGM 2006 meeting.

Mr. Sodiq has been a member of the MSA since 1994 and has contributed to the association in many ways - including serving out  the posts of Secretary and Student Advisor on the MSA Central Committee. He was actively involved in the organisation of HEAP 95 and the charity events following the tsunami in December 2004. His other contributions include aiding on MSA reports and constitution revisions. At present Sodiq is a full-time teacher of ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) at City College Coventry.
