The Big Match, London vs UK United took place in the turf-ground in Finchley, London on 29 December 2002.
Few seconds after the starting whistle London took the pride of having the lead. While London was leading 3-1 the goaly of UK United Issay (Habarey) dived to save a low shot and got one of his shoulders dislocated in the process. He was taken to the hospital and Jeku, who was playing in London defence went off as his assistance. Habarey got professional treatment from Barnet Hospital and was able to come home in the evening. The match was continued in the absence of these two players and UK united started scoring when their courageous player Shafiu started to play as a forward player. He scored three of their five goals against London.
The finest moment of the game was when a goal was scored by young Sami, who is just 10 years. His goal was the equaliser for UK United. The game ended 5-5. Shafiu was declared as the Man of the match by absentees. Now people are looking forward for the next Big Match during the Easter get-together.
