The Central Committee of MSA(UK) would like to inform members that it disassociates with the articles and postings on the open forum of Dhivehi Observer regarding the  meeting held with Dr Ahmed Shaheed, Chief Government Spokesman on Sunday, 28th November 2004 at the Maldives High Commission, London.

Please be informed that the discussions held with Dr Shaheed were very constructive and were held in an open and friendly environment. Members present (see list below) had  the opportunity to discuss student concerns/issues, economic, social and political developments back at home.

The Central Committee is thankful for Dr Shaheed and Maldivian High Commission, London for arranging this successful meeting.
