MSA(UK) members flocked in to the West Kensington on Friday night to support Fasy’s band – Maizaan Fasy (Lead guitar), Ibe’ (Drums) and Ali (Base guitar). The band was performing in the European and North American live festival for Up and Coming Bands – Emergenza held at West One Four, West Kensington, London.

Fasy’s band kicked off with a bang and filled the hall with their power and energies. “It was awesome and we can feel the power of music all over the place” said one member. A group of New Zealanders said “The guitar player [Fasy] was too good and we had to congratulate him” and later shouted “We are coming to the Maldives!” after finding out that the band was from Maldives.

The band rocked the crowd and members danced and clapped to the music. The climate was euphoric and members supported Fasy’s band throughout. Fasy’s band performance was superb and received huge support from the crowd. Finally, with the immense support received from the members and other people present, Fasy’s band made successfully to the semi-finals after being voted as one of the best three bands in the festival. This was a great achievement for Fasy’s band, especially to compete with the UK bands and to gain a place in the semi-finals, which will be held in Germany.
