The Central Committee has invited MSA-UK members to make nominations for honorary membership of the Association. Honorary membership is to be awarded on the occasion of MSA-UK's 20th anniversary, to persons who have supported the organisation over the past 20 years.

Nominations are to be sent to chair@msa-uk.org, with reasons why the nominee deserves the honour. The following information is required: full name of nominee; organization (if any); and contact details.

Also the person making the nominations is requested to identify himself or herself, with full name, institution of study (if applicable), town, and contact details. The person making the nomination is also requested to inform the CC, whether or not the nominee has been informed of his or her nomination, and if he or she consents to the nomination.

A decision on the award of honorary membership is to be made by the CC after due consideration. CC is to seek the advise of the Advisory Council on the matter.

Deadline for nominations is 23 December 2005.
